Boca Raton, Florida. – After a very busy construction schedule this summer, Jack Nicklaus, Senior Design Associate Chris Cochran and Nicklaus Design staffers gathered recently for a day in the dirt and South Florida heat at Via Mizner Golf and City Club. This time, the working site visit focused on the back-nine holes. Jack and the team are in the process of finalizing the tees and green contours, along with developing strategy for some of the holes. In the process, they wanted to assure that the Nicklaus Design philosophy, strategy and quality standards are preserved, while producing the best-possible golf amenity. As we team with the hard-working development group for Via Mizner, Nicklaus Design is giving South Florida a fresh golf experience. The team has a lot of work yet to complete before nine holes open later this year, with all 18 scheduled for completion early next year. Take a look at some drone footage from this week’s site visit here!
