Course Overview
Tucked within the mountains of North Georgia is the Achasta Golf Club, a semi-private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. The 6955-yard, par-72 course winds along and across the Chestatee River. In fact, the course crosses this quaint, but famous river not once, but seven times including the unique fifth hole, which plays entirely on an island in the river.
Achasta Golf Club was designed to optimize the natural environment with unique hole strategies, while providing a feel similar to such classic courses as Pinehurst No. 2, Augusta National and Winged Foot. The course provides surprising challenges, yet enjoyable for players of all skill levels.
Achasta Golf Club represents the first course developed under a partnership between ClubCorp and Nicklaus Design.
