The 7,414-yard Geronimo golf course winds its way through, over and across some of the most spectacular terrain anywhere. Geronimo features big elevation changes, deep ravines, plateaus and beautiful Sonoran Desert vistas. It is described by Jack as "the strong-looking course, with Cochise being the soft-looking one."
The first few holes deceptively lead the golfer to believe the course may be somewhat pastoral, but unexpected, spectacular carries over deep ravines and canyons are a challenging surprise on the back nine. The finishing hole is the most emblematic of Geronimo's layout - a 160-yard par-3 which requires a pinpoint tee shot from elevated tees over a rugged canyon to a two-tiered green protected by sand bunkers in the front and rear. The drama makes Geronimo a course that will be remembered by anyone who plays it.
