Representing the first time that golfing legends Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer have co-designed a course, The King and The Bear blends natural genius with natureÍs beauty. The front nine holes of this par-72, 7,279-yard championship course weave among open meadows and loblolly pines, while ancient live oaks line the back nine with shady canopies, and rolling hills provide excellent viewing galleries.
The course was a total collaborative effort between Palmer Course Design and Nicklaus Design, meshing together the personalities, playing styles and design philosophies of the two legends for each hole. This collaboration made for a combination of surprising strategies and interesting angles that are both fun and challenging for players of all levels. Each hole varies from the next in length and appearance.

"This has been an exciting design challenge for me. Working with Arnold to bring together our competitive spirit and design philosophies has been a rewarding experience"
