Sunset, South Carolina – The Reserve at Lake Keowee played host to Clemson University on July 15 for the Tigers’ annual Football Media Day and Golf Outing. The event, which included a round of golf on The Reserve’s award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, provided the opportunity for the University to announce its plans and programs for the upcoming football season and allowed for open dialogue between the coaches and members of the press.

Clemson University’s Head Football Coach and Member of The Reserve at Lake Keowee Dabo Swinney, Defensive Coordinator Brent Venables, Offensive Coordinator Chad Morris, Running Backs Coach Tony Elliott, Offensive Line Coach Robbie Caldwell, and Defensive Line Coach Marion Hobby, among others, attended and played alongside members of the media community from across the state and ACC region.

“This is the tenth year that The Reserve has hosted the Clemson Media Day outing. To say that we are proud of our connection to the University would be an understatement; in addition to nearly 100 members who are proud Clemson alumni, The Reserve partners with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, holds an annual Member-Guest tailgate, champions Clemson’s Masters in Real Estate development and Professional Golf Management programs, and more,” said Greg Rushing, Head Golf Professional for The Reserve at Lake Keowee.

“The Reserve has really embraced Clemson. I love that it’s just 20 minutes from the University. Here I can relax, enjoy my family and privacy, and recharge for all the demands of college coaching. My family absolutely loves Lake Keowee, especially The Reserve amenities,” said Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney.
