Dublin, Ohio – Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide announced today that a SkyTrak powered golf simulator, featuring Muirfield Village Golf Club’s signature par-3 12th hole, will be open for play at the Golden Bear Club throughout the week of the upcoming 41st edition of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide.

The Golden Bear Club is located within Patron Village in the heart of Tournament play between Hole No. 10 fairway and No. 14 green.

Memorial Tournament patrons who purchased the upgraded Golden Bear Club badge will have a chance to compete in a virtual closest-to-the-pin contest on an incredibly realistic HD model of the par-3 12th hole at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Daily contest winners will receive Nicklaus Golf Balls and the overall champion will have a chance to win a Jack Nicklaus-autographed pin flag.

In other Tournament news, two NVIDA SHIELD Android TV Box consoles, featuring the same next-generation golf game that Golden Bear Club patrons will enjoy, and eight tablets preloaded with child-friendly games, will be donated to Nationwide Children’s Hospital during a visit by PGA TOUR players on Tuesday, May 31, at 1 p.m. Stuart Appleby, Jim Herman and Camilo Villegas will visit with patients in the rehabilitation unit and tour the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The player visit in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital rehabilitation unit is open to the media. Please R.S.V.P. to Tom Sprouse via email at tsprouse@thememorialtournament.com. Media parking at the Hospital is available in the parking lot on the West side of Parsons Avenue, between Nationwide Children’s Orthopedic Center at 479 Parsons Ave., and Research Building III at 575 Children’s Crossroad. Turn West onto Children’s Crossroad from Parsons Ave., and then turn right into the gated surface parking lot. (A token will be provided to exit the lot).
