Course Overview
Once every few decades a piece of land is made available for the creation of a golf masterpiece. On Florida's northeast coastline, a pristine parcel of oceanfront property is now home to one of the game's stunning layouts. With six holes edging the sand and surf, including a breathtaking finishing hole, Ocean Course at Hammock Beach is Florida's first true oceanfront course to open in more than 70 years.
Working with indigenous forests and wetlands, dense shrubbery, coastal dune formations and the Atlantic Ocean itself, Ocean Course at Hammock Beach's terrain has been gently massaged to harmonize with its dramatic surroundings.
This classic design features: Multiple options off the tee, beautiful but tough par 4's to close each nine; a beguiling mix of reachable and unreachable par 5's; and a huge variety of holes that dogleg left and right, that go uphill and downhill, that play to large greens and small; undulating well protected greens designed to require strategic tee shots.
