Location

Situated in Hui Yang City in the East side of Guang Dong Province, Palm Island is only 40 minutes from the Hong Kong / Shenzhen border and 5 minutes form the highway exit. We provide daily shuttle bus to and from Palm Island to Hong Kong and special arranged 6-seater private vans for rental.

Golf Course

Designed by Mr. Jack Nicklaus Jr, the 27-hole golf course consists of three unique 9-hole courses (the Lychee Course, Lake Course and River Course) of a total 108 par and 10,368 yard. With the finest Bermuda grass from the United States and specially designed perforated spiral drainage pipes laid in a herringbone pattern makes it the first golf course in Southern Chinato allow golf carts to travel on fairways. Outdoor Driving Range of over 30 bays with 5 target greens ranging form 100 to 300 yards allows golfer to hit off from the grass. Our USPGA, Chinese PGA and assistant coaches will be happy to be of service to our members and their guest upon booking arrangement.

Landscape Designer and Club House

Designed by Bensley Design Studio, a world-renowned landscape architecture firm who is responsible for the Peninsula and Regent Hotel in Thailand, is sculpturing the picturesque 500,000 square feet of our Central Tropical Garden. Located within are the two clubhouses, one used by members exclusively, and a new one introduced in year 2002 for residents and visitors. Completed with world class resort, indoor recreational and business facilities including: Restaurants, Multi-purpose function rooms, Conference rooms, Video room, Business center, Library, Pottery room, Members bar, Mahjong rooms, Cigar room, Gymnasium, Snooker, Ping pong, Children's play room and Sauna facilities and World Class Spa. Outdoor Recreational facilities, we have indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, petite farm, wine refinery, amphitheatre, paintball games area, and lawn bowling.

Hotel and Service Apartment

Set within a blend of Chinese and tropical scenery, the villas were designed by Mr. Kenneth Ko. Guest suites in the hotel cover an area of 80 square metres, each room has its own private pavilion, and some even equipped private outdoor Jacuzzi. Furthermore, by the end of year 2004, 36 more such hotel rooms will be available to service our members and quests. The Service Apartments, with 3 en-suite bedrooms each, are also available to ensure the most comfortable stay for family and groups. Service facilities from Room Service to Private Barbeque may be provided upon requested.
