13th annual Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Golf Invitational

The annual Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Invitational has helped raise over $7 million for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, an organization founded 30 years ago by Barth A. Green, M.D., and NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Nick Buoniconti after Nick’s son, Marc, sustained a spinal cord injury during a college football game. The Celebrity Invitational has been played at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida, for 13 years.

Celebrity guests included Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres; Irish actor Aiden Turner; actor D.B. Sweeney; ESPN NBA analyst Bruce Bowen; NFL Hall of Famer Harry Carson; two-time All-Star and World Series champion Jeff Conine (Mr. Marlin); former Twins, Orioles and Yankees pitcher Scott Erickson; NBA Hall of Famer John Havlicek; former Washington Redskins quarterback Mark Rypien; and former Marlins pitcher Livan Hernandez.
