The Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Golf Invitational

Jack Nicklaus hosted the The Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Golf Invitational at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla. The tournament has been held annually for 15 years in order to draw attention to The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, which supports the spinal cord and brain injury research programs at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, a center of excellence at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In 15 years, the event has helped raise over $7 million.

In addition to Nicklaus, participants included Dick Anderson, Stan Bahnsen, Fred Banks, Shane Battier, Bruce Bowen, Jeff Dellenbach, Scott Erickson, Mike Euruzione, Tucker Fredrickson, Bob Griese, Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson, Livan Hernandez, Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez, Brian Kelley, Tim McKyer, Mark Richt, Mark Rypien, Alex Tanguay, Tico Torres, Aiden Turner, Jed Weaver, and NFL Hall of Fame linebacker and co-founder of The Miami Project, Nick Buoniconti.
