Memorial field features 7 of World's Top 10; No. 1 Adam Scott goes for back-to-back wins

Dublin, Ohio – Adam Scott, the No. 1 player in the world, heads a field of 120 players for the 2014 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance. Fresh off a playoff victory Sunday at Colonial, Scott will be joined by six other players, in order, from the top 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking: Matt Kuchar (defending winner), Bubba Watson (reigning Masters Champion), Day, Justin Rose (2010 Memorial winner and reigning U.S. Open champion), Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy. The 39th edition of the prestigious invitational Jack Nicklaus started in 1976 at Muirfield Village Golf Club also boasts seven of the current top-10 on the FedExCup points list and seven of the current top-10 on the PGA TOUR money list.

In addition to Kuchar and Rose, six past winners of the Memorial Tournament are returning to Muirfield Village Golf Club: K.J. Choi, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Carl Pettersson, Vijay Singh and Steve Stricker.
