Nicklaus Art and Memorabilia

GreenGrass Collectibles

greengrassGreenGrass Collectibles offers unique golf collectibles featuring professional golfer Jack Nicklaus. Founded by Lenny Davis of Newport Beach, California, Mr. Davis has had a relationship with Jack Nicklaus and the Nicklaus Organization since 1987. Originally an art licensee of Golden Bear International, Mr. Davis became the exclusive Memorabilia and Collectible licensee of Golden Bear Golf Inc. in the late 90’s. It is during that time that he conceived the idea of collecting “tournament used” memorabilia of Jack Nicklaus. “While many items collected are one of a kind, the collection of tournament used golf balls allows others to own a piece of golf history” states Mr. Davis. The collection includes tournament used balls from the British Open, The Tradition and the Masters tournament. While all of the golf balls have historical significance, the Tradition and Masters golf balls are truly unique.

The 1998 Masters was Jack’s 40th Masters Tournament and Tuesday, April 7th was designated Jack Nicklaus Day by the Augusta National Golf Club. At 58 years old, Jack became the oldest player ever to finish in 6th place.

The 1996 Tradition, a Senior Tour Major event, was won by Jack for a record 4th time. It was his 100th career victory, and most significantly, was the last tournament he ever won.

Each golf ball is personally signed by Mr. Nicklaus and displayed on a beautiful cherry wood base adorned with brass plaques. A certificate of Authenticity with a unique hologram accompanies each piece.
