On November 13, 2013, Jack Nicklaus created Art of Nicklaus, a unique series of 22 original hand prints to celebrate his illustrious career and record 18 professional major championship victories, including the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, The Open Championship and the Masters Tournament. The rare collection consists of 18 original gold hand prints, each marked with year and golf course information. These hand prints were created using gold acrylic paint mixed with 22 carat gold leaf. Four original colored hand prints representing each of the four major championships within Jack’s 18 major championship victories are accompanied by details of the years in which Jack won them.
All limited edition signed prints within the Art of Nicklaus collection have been printed on acid free archival parchment using finest quality inks to ensure longevity. The limited edition signed prints are clearly numbered. Photographs and film footage were taken during the creation of each original work. In addition, each piece from within the Art of Nicklaus collection has been authenticated as follows:
- A unique Nicklaus Brands hologram has been applied to each piece.
- A Certificate of Authenticity signed by the publisher accompanies each piece (signed prints only).
- A publisher’s "chop" will be embossed on each piece: one for Nicklaus Brands and one for Crowning Moments (the publisher).
