ABC Sports Online provides a hole-by-hole synopsis of the Lincoln Financial Group Battle at Bighorn between Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Sergio Garcia and Lee Trevino.

No. 1: 429 yards, par 4
Woods used a 9-iron on his second shot to move within 5 feet of the cup. He hit his birdie putt as Woods and Nicklaus won the first hole.

No. 2: 435 yards, par 4
Woods nailed his 25-foot putt for birdie. Garcia had a chance to halve the hole, but he missed his 25-foot putt.
Score: Woods/Nicklaus 2-up

No. 3: 531 yards, par 5
All four players took advantage of the big fairways on the third hole as each player birdied the hole.

No. 4: 447 yards, par 4
Woods and Nicklaus each missed putts for birdie. Trevino sank his birdie putt to cut the lead.

No. 5: 367 yards, par 4
Nicklaus' drive went into the gallery on the right. His next attempt went in the sand, then hit it well past the green. Trevino played safely and sank a birdie putt. Woods drove right, but was able to get on the green in two. He lipped his 20-foot putt as the match went even.

No. 6: 183 yards, par 3
Nicklaus missed his long putt left, while Woods' chip shot from the fringe went two feet of the cup. Garcia then won the hole with an eight foot putt.

No. 7: 519 yards, par 5
All four players aimed for the green on their second shots, but none of them made it. Woods used a 4-iron from 229 yards out, but landed in the desert on the right. Garcia's 5-iron from 219 yards landed short on the hill of the bunker. Both had birdie chances. Woods made his from five feet. Garcia missed his, evening the match.

No. 8: 202 yards, par 3
All four players hit tremendous tee shots. Nicklaus went first, hitting a 2-iron about 10 feet above the pin. Woods went next, hitting a 5-iron within two feet of the pin, clinching a birdie. Trevino was third, and placed his shot within five feet of the cup. Garcia was less than eight feet with his 5-iron. Both Garcia and Trevino missed their birdie putts left.

No. 9: 449 yards, par 4
The seniors held their own on No. 9. Woods found the bunker on his tee shot, while Garcia's ball was in the desert. While Woods got on in two, Garcia had little chance and ended up in the environmentally sensitive area. Trevino's second shot from 168 yards out rolled within 10 feet of the cup. Then Nicklaus hit the shot of the night so far; the Golden Bear had his 7-iron nail the pin and it settled within one foot of the cup. With his birdie putt conceded, Trevino missed his putt to halve the hole.

No. 10: 397 yards, par 4
Woods hit a sand wedge within five feet of the cup, putting the pressure on Garcia on his second shot. Garcia, from 98 yards out, hit a wedge shot into one of the bunkers on the left. He followed by missing a par putt. Trevino missed two putts, giving Woods two shots to win the hole. He sank the first to give his team its fourth straight hole.

No. 11: 434 yards, par 4
Garcia broke out the driver, and smoked it 320 yards onto the fairway. He followed that with a sand wedge to 10 feet of the cup. After Woods missed his birdie putt, Garcia putted in for a three and the hole.

No. 12: 550 yards, par 5
Using a 2-iron, Garcia's second shot rolled within six feet of the hole. Woods followed that with a 3-iron that almost hit Garcia's, and settled five feet from the cup. Nicklaus' third shot from 117 yards out to within five feet. Garcia and Woods each missed eagle putts as the hole was halved.

No. 13: 197 yards, par 3
With the pin placed in the back left of the green, all four players reached the green with Garcia closest to the pin at 10 feet. After Nicklaus buried his 25-foot birdie putt, Garcia missed his putt left to hand the hole to Woods and Nicklaus.

No. 14: 351 yards, par 4
Instead of challenging the short par-4, Garcia and Woods each hit irons off the tee. On their second shots, Garcia pulled within five feet of the cup, Woods 12. Garcia sank his birdie putt, his fifth of the night. Woods followed with his eighth birdie to halve the hole.
Score: Woods/Nicklaus 3-up

No. 15: 568 yards, par 5
The first hole with lights. Nicklaus laid up on his second shot, but potted his third shot in the water. Trevino hit his second shot just past the green. He two-putted for a birdie. Garcia missed his long eagle putt. Woods chipped within five feet of the hole on his eagle try. He sank that for a birdie to halve the hole.
Score: Woods/Nicklaus 3-up

No. 16: 180 yards, par 3
From the tee box, Woods just missed to the left. Garcia also missed the hole on the left. After Woods missed a birdie putt, Garcia had a chance to win the hole, but it rolled five feet past the hole. Following Garcia's par putt, Woods sank his to halve the hole and win the match.
