Two Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses adding to honors from 2008

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Creighton Farms in Aldie, Va. and The Idaho Club in Sandpoint, added to Nicklaus Design’s burgeoning list of courses honored in the past year, when the two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses were named among “The Top 10 New Private Golf Courses” in America by GOLF Magazine.

Creighton Farms, which places a premium on strategy and precision rather than power, was recognized earlier this month with the honor of being Golf Digest's No. 4 "Best New Private Course.” The course was also recognized among the best new courses in 2008 by a third top industry publication, Golfweek.

Also among GOLF’s “Top 10 New Private Golf Courses,” The Idaho Club’s 7,000-yard, par-72 layout opened for play in August and offers club members and guests 18 holes of risk-reward play complete with awe-inspiring views of majestic forests and sparkling lakes all on this tranquil setting in the panhandle of Northern Idaho.
