New Zealand Mint is proud to present the first legal tender gold coin featuring Jack Nicklaus designed to immortalize his legendary career.

In this world-first, just 113 of the Official Jack Nicklaus Gold Coins have been cast by New Zealand Mint to symbolize Nicklaus' 113 professional tournament wins in a brilliant career spanning four decades. Now, after pre-sales in New Zealand and the US, a small number of coins is being offered worldwide to collectors.

The Nicklaus coins have been minted in an exclusive deal with the champion golfer. Each is crafted from the highest possible international standard of gold (.99999 purity), and weighs 113g.

Each coin, featuring engraving on both sides, has a 50 millimeter diameter and is 4.1 millimeters thick.

The coin is legal tender in the Cook Islands and features a portrait of Jack Nicklaus on one side, and Queen Elizabeth II on the other. It is elegantly presented in a custom wood case made from native New Zealand Rimu and shaped as a golf ball. The package includes a 36-page booklet personally signed by the golfing great.
