With seven top-25s and four top-10s in 2005, including three victories: Buick Invitational, Ford Championship at Doral, and the Masters, Tiger Woods is ranked second on the Official PGA TOUR Money List with more than $3.6 million and is currently ranked No. 1 in the PGA TOUR Official World Golf Rankings. Coming off a third place performance at the 2004 Memorial, Woods will be looking for his fourth victory in only his ninth trip to Dublin, Ohio when competition begins June 2nd. With 43 PGA TOUR victories to his credit, including nine Majors, Woods will be a fan favorite to win this year's Memorial.

Joining Woods as part of the 2005 Memorial Tournament field are: Mike Weir, Chad Campbell, Justin Rose, Joe Ogilvie and K.J. Choi. Mike Weir is a three-time recipient (2000-1 and 2003) of the Lionel Conacher Award, given to Canada's Male Athlete of the Year, the first golfer to be so honored since 1932. He has four top-25s and two top-10s in 2005, including a runner up finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and a T5 at the Masters. Weir has finished in the top-10 of the PGA TOUR Official World Golf Rankings the past two years and has seven PGA TOUR victories including one Major, the 2003 Masters, to his credit. He will be going for his third top-5 finish in six appearances at the Memorial. Chad Campbell will make his fourth trip to Muirfield Village Golf Club this year. He has recorded one win in each of his first two seasons on TOUR (2003 THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola and 2004 Bay Hill Invitational Presented by MasterCard). With five top-25s and three top-10s in 2005, including a 2nd place finish at the Nissan Open, Chad is one of the brightest new stars on TOUR today. Justin Rose will make his second appearance at the Memorial in 2005. With a fifth place finish in 2004, fans will look for Rose to make Muirfield Village the site of his first PGA TOUR victory. Lancaster Ohio native Joe Ogilvie has six top-25s and 4 top-10s in 2005, finishing 2nd twice (Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and the Honda Classic). Ogilvie currently ranks 1st in Putting Average on the PGA TOUR. K.J. Choi was chosen by Gary Player as a captain's pick for the 2003 Presidents Cup. He finished 2004 in the top- 25 for the third consecutive season on strength of 10 top-25s and seven top-10s, including a third place finish at the Masters. Choi finished the 2004 Memorial Tournament in fifth place to log his 3rd top-25 finish at Muirfield Village. For 2005, the Korean native has produced three top-25s and one top-10, including a T8 at the Bay Hill Invitational presented by MasterCard.

"As with each year, the Memorial is proud to once again boast one of the strongest fields on TOUR", said Executive Director Dan Sullivan. "The fact that year in, year out the Memorial has one of the best fields on TOUR is a testament to the golf course (Muirfield Village Golf Club), the staff and Jack Nicklaus' vision for Muirfield Village Golf Club and the Memorial Tournament."
