Memorial Skins Game Pairings Announced

Dublin, Ohio - June 1, 2009 - Officials of the Memorial Tournament announced today the pairings for the Memorial Skins Game, to be played Wednesday, June 3, at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The first group will tee off at 1:05 p.m. and include Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, Jim Furyk and Camilo Villegas. Group 2 will feature Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Kenny Perry and Stewart Cink and will begin at 1:20 p.m.

The Memorial Skins Game is a nine-hole event starting on Hole No. 10 and will be televised live on Golf Channel from 1 - 4 p.m. Players will be outfitted with wireless microphones, in conjunction with the Memorial's Wednesday Junior Golf Day where kids 18 and under are admitted free, so that children and spectators may enjoy the banter among the players during this special competition. A purse of $100,000 is being offered with proceeds benefiting The First Tee. The following is the purse and skins valuations breakdown:

In addition, the Memorial Tournament will make All-week Patron Badges available to the general public through Tournament week. The badges, valid June 1-7, are priced at $155 per person and include a complimentary three-day Practice Round ticket at no extra cost. As always, kids 12 and under can attend for free all week and kids 18 and under are now free on Wednesday for Junior Golf Day. To purchase badges through Sunday, June 7 the public may call the Tournament Ticket Office 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 877-MT BADGE or visit www.thememorialtournament.com. Through Friday, May 29 patrons have the option of two-day delivery or Will Call pick-up. Starting Tournament week, badges may also be purchased at the Memorial Patron Will Call Center, located in the Perimeter Loop Kroger parking lot. Daily tickets for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday practice rounds are also available. The cost is $30, and they are valid for all three practice-round days.
