Host Millers wow crowd to win Champions Challenge;
Jack and Mike Nicklaus finish tied for 10th

Jack and Mike Nicklaus finished in the top 10, but were on the outside looking in at a couple of stellar performances, as host Johnny Miller and son Andy used a course record to outduel Annika Sorenstam and little sister Charlotta to win the 9th annual Nokia Champions Challenge Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. The Millers rode 12 birdies and three eagles to shoot 18 under par, beating the Sorenstam's mark of 15 under and in the process bettering the tournament record by a shot to split the first prize of $100,000. The Nicklauses finished in a tie for 10th at 9 under, while Jack Nicklaus II and partner Ian Baker-Finch, the 1991 British Open champion, were 13th at 7 under. Jack Nicklaus said the performance by the Millers was highlighted by the best putting round by Johnny in almost 20 years. "That score is pretty amazing, and I'd say the same thing if Tiger Woods did it," said Johnny Miller, a golf analyst for NBC.
