At 4:30 pm Wednesday, Presidents Cup Captains Jack Nickaus and Gary Player announed their pairings for Thursday's opening Foursomes. They are:

Match 1:
1:10 p.m. -- Tiger Woods and Fred Couples (U.S.) versus Adam Scott and Retief Goosen (International)

Match 2:
1:20 p.m. -- Fred Funk and Jim Furyk (U.S.) versus Vijay Singh and Mark Hensby (International)

Match 3:
1:30 p.m. -- Phil Mickelson and Chris DiMarco (U.S.) versus Nick O'Hern and Tim Clark (International)

Match 4:
1:40 p.m. -- Justin Leonard and Scott Verplank (U.S.) versus Peter Lonard and Stuart Appleby (International)

Match 5:
1:50 p.m. -- Davis Love III and Kenny Perry (U.S.) versus Michael Campbell and Angel Cabrerra (International)

Match 6:
2 p.m. -- Stewart Cink and David Toms (U.S.) versus Trevor Immelman and Mike Weir (International)
