Fifth Annual Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Golf Invitational raises $500,000 for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis
The Fifth Annual Buoniconti Fund Celebrity Golf Invitational, held November 5th and 6th in Jupiter, brought The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis more than $500,000 closer to finding a cure. Golfing legend, Jack Nicklaus opened up his Florida home course, The Bear's Club, for this exclusive two-day event. Celebrity golfers, including NFL Hall of Famer Bob Griese and Baseball Hall of Famer Gary Carter joined NFL Hall of Fame linebacker and Miami Project co-founder Nick Buoniconti for a dinner, silent auction and golf tournament that has raised more than $3 million since its inception.
