Three titans in their industries, who have now partnered to further develop one of golf's most cherished brands, were featured Monday afternoon on CNBC's "Street Signs." From CNBC's global headquarters, Street Signs host Erin Burnett conducted a live, remote interview of Jack Nicklaus, David Chu and Howard Milstein, who gathered at Milstein's executive offices at Emigrant Bank in New York City. Just two years after Milstein, who is Chairman and CEO of New York Private Bank & Trust, the largest privately held bank in the United States, partnered with the Nicklaus family to form Nicklaus Companies LLC, the partnership announced that Chu, the famed designer and branding icon, will work with the Nicklaus Companies to develop and evolve the Nicklaus Brands in the lifestyle category. Chu, who can count among his many successes the development of the Nautica lifestyle brand, and his firm David Chu Management Group (DCMG) will assist in the planning and development of a new vision to enhance the image of Jack Nicklaus®, Nicklaus® and Golden Bear® brands and products. This will include everything from product design consulting and creative direction to distribution strategy, brand management and new business development.
