Newly redesigned course at The Country Club of Louisiana now open for its members

After several months of extensive construction and renovations, The Country Club of Louisiana (CCLA) has opened its newly redesigned golf course to members. A key Baton Rouge fixture since 1986, CCLA is among the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in a residential setting. As part of the renovation work, CCLA replaced its Champion greens with MiniVerde bermudagrass to provide a truer putting surface. MiniVerde was introduced in the industry around 2002 and many have found it to not only be a superior surface but also one requiring less maintenance. MiniVerde has been recommended often by Nicklaus Design for its golf courses in the southeast.
