Golfweek Magazine & Golf Advisor Annual Rankings Recognize Vidanta Golf Courses
Grupo Vidanta, Mexico’s leading golf course developer and operator, and KemperSports, the leading golf management company in North America, are pleased to announce recognition by Golfweek magazine and Golf Advisor of two courses in the Vidanta Golf portfolio of properties.
Golfweek magazine awarded the Nicklaus Design Course at Vidanta Puerto Peñasco #17 on the list of “Best Courses in Mexico and the Caribbean 2019”, marking the third time the amazing layout outside Rocky Point, Mexico has been ranked since 2017. Golfweek’s elite team of course raters, which currently boasts more than 850 evaluators, surveys more than 3,600 courses – grading each nominated course on the basis of Golfweek’s 10 strict standards of evaluation including course conditioning, variety and memorability of holes, and routing. Collectively, these knowledgeable raters turned in more than 75,000 votes to compile Golfweek’s Best courses lists.

The Nicklaus Design Courses at both Vidanta Puerto Peñasco and Vidanta Riviera Maya were also recognized for excellence as two of the best courses in Mexico by Golf Advisor as #3 and #11 respectively on their list of “Golf Advisor’s Best of 2018: Mexico” based on the year’s customer reviews.
Golf Advisor is a leading source for golf course ratings and golfer generated reviews, and part of the Golf Channel network. Golf Advisor recently released its 2018 list of top-rated courses Internationally and in the United States based on the ratings and reviews by golfers throughout the year. Vidanta Golf’s courses achieved “Best of Mexico” status as a result of more than 1500 total reviews.
