Jack Nicklaus once said that one of the most important decisions a golfer can make is picking the right partner. In 2007, the Golden Bear selected Howard Milstein as his partner with two important goals:

Over 50 years, the Nicklaus Companies has developed the world’s most successful golf course design firm and built the Jack Nicklaus brand into a lifestyle collection of products generating over $250 million in sales around the world.
Nicklaus Design features eight course designers currently working on 40 projects including new courses as well as golf course renovations for private, resort, and public facilities. In total, there are 423 Nicklaus courses in 45 countries, and over 1,000 significant amateur or pro tournaments have been staged on Nicklaus Design courses. Today, the focus of design includes dramatically expanded services including construction management for turnkey operations as well as Nicklaus branding for premier new real estate developments to drive premium economic return for Nicklaus clients.
