Golf 2.0Golden Bear on strategic plan:
It is time to think out of the box
to grow the game I love

Jack Nicklaus, whose legacy as a champion can be rivaled only by his legacy as a global golf course designer, businessman and philanthropist, has joined his industry peers on nurturing perhaps one of the most important blueprints in golf today--ensuring the future of the game. The golf legend, whose 18 major championships set a standard for excellence, joined The PGA of America, United States Golf Association and representatives of Boys & Girls Clubs of America on January 26th at the 59th PGA Merchandise Show in support of Golf 2.0. The new comprehensive, strategic plan is designed to retain and strengthen core players, bring former players back, and welcome new golfers to the game.

(Feb. 27-March 4)
Fueling the success of recent years and adding just more star power to an already marquee field, Tiger Woods has committed to compete in the 2012 Honda Classic. The popular PGA Tour event will be played February 27-March 4 just 20 minutes from Woods' Jupiter Island, Fla., home on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa.

It will be Woods' first appearance at The Honda since he competed in the event as an amateur in 1993 and his first professional appearance in the Palm Beach County/Treasure Coast area of Florida that he now calls home.

The Jack Nicklaus Fall 2012 collection is once again inspired by Jack himself, as well as the rich heritage associated with the game of golf. So it was only fitting that the Golden Bear was on hand at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando last month, when the collection was unveiled to international licensees and representatives of Nicklaus courses across the United States.

Domestically, Jack Nicklaus Apparel has been developed and made available exclusively for Nicklaus courses. To learn more about Jack Nicklaus Apparel and to see pieces from the Spring 2012 line, please visit...
