Toro first launched its golf equipment business in 1919 when five reel cutting units were mounted to a Toro tractor to maintain the fairways at The Minikahda Club in Minneapolis. As Jack and Nicklaus Design sought out the best equipment and irrigation company in the industry, Toro was a natural fit providing solutions to almost all of the 425+ Nicklaus Courses in 45+ counties, including Jack’s home courses at The Bear’s Club and Muirfield Village Golf Club. Today, Toro holds the leadership position in nearly every product category in which it competes.
