Golf Digest has released its exclusive 2013-14 ranking of the best instructors as voted by their peers. A panel of 1,200 golf instructors nationwide has named three instructors affiliated with the Nicklaus organization to the annual list. Martin Hall, representing Ibis Golf & Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., was named No. 10. He has been a golf professional since 1975 and competed on the European Tour. Hall was named PGA Teacher of the Year in 2008, and has been named to the America’s 50 Best Teachers list for the last 10 years. He is also a regular contributor on Golf Channel.
Mike Malaska, who serves as the Worldwide Director of Instruction for the Jack Nicklaus Academies, was ranked 15th. In 2011, Malaska was named the PGA Teacher of the Year. He moved up 14 spots over his 2011-12 ranking.
New to the ranking is Brian Manzella at English Turn Golf & Country Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in New Orleans. A 30-year teaching veteran who focuses on innovative ways for students to improve, Manzella was ranked No. 40.
